Maren Thomas

A kind and caring person, Maren Thomas will live on in spirit eternally!  Maren was a star of of one of the most influential underground films ever, Mike Kuchar's "Sins of the Fleshapoids" from 1965.  Gordon Lightfoot wrote one of his most artistic songs ever about Maren titled "Affair on 8th Avenue" from 1968. He includes a direct quote from Maren in the lyrics which act as an epitaph for this vital spirit, "How long", said she, "can a moment like this belong to someone?  What's wrong, what is right, when to live or to die, we must almost be born."  Thank you for your friendship, Maren.  You were wonderful!  Warm regards, Lawrence
